🚀 Honeypot Posts
Why Honeypot Posts Work
Honeypot posts are the single fastest way to spark engagement and conversations. They're designed to stop the scroll, trigger comments, and let the algorithm push your content further.
  • I've personally generated 50–100+ comments from a single honeypot post.
  • More comments = more exposure. Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn reward posts with engagement by showing them to more people.
  • More exposure = more leads, more convos, more commissions.
But the key → don't overdo them. Run them about every 3 posts or so to avoid audience fatigue.
The Honeypot Formula
Step 1: The Visual Hook (Image or Graphic)
  • Use a scroll-stopping picture text.
  • Big, bold statement that creates curiosity, fear, or excitement.
  • Example: "DO NOT PAY COLLECTIONS BACK."
(Remember: the goal is to stop people from scrolling, not to explain everything right away.)
Step 2: The Caption / Comment Section
Instead of putting the value in your caption, put it in the comment section.
  • The post says just enough to make people curious.
  • Then they either comment "INFO" or you drop the real breakdown in the first comment.
Example Layout:
Picture Text:
"How to Get $100K at 0% With No Tax Returns"
Caption:
"Comment INFO if you want the details 👇"
First Comment (you):
Step-by-step breakdown or CTA to DM you.
Step 3: Engagement Loop
Respond to every comment.
Tag people in replies.
The more comments, the higher the post ranks in feeds.
Why These Crush It
Algorithm Love
Comments = higher reach.
Social Proof
When people see 50–100 comments, they want to know why.
Lead Funnel
Every comment = an excuse to DM someone directly.
Best Practices
  • Don't run honeypot posts every day. Space them out → every 3 posts or so.
  • Mix them in with value posts, storytelling, memes, or reels.
  • Always follow up in the DMs. That's where the deals close.
  • Test different hooks → credit hacks, funding myths, client wins, industry secrets.
